Its Potty Time!!

Yep, we are offically diaper FREE!

We started potty training Adysen on November 17 and she had it down by the next day. She has only had 3 accidents and 2 of those were on Thanksgiving Day (which I know was just out of pure exitement of being around all her cousins). We are so proud of our little girl. I started taking her out into public within a couple of days since she had it down so well and she has done outstanding!
Books work like a charm :D
Adysen putting stickers on her potty chart....
Such a big GIRL!

Cannot believe our baby girl is already in big girl panties
and going to be two in January!

I really dislike how fast these kiddos grow.
Just as soon as things slow down around here I have
lots and lots of blogging to catch up on!

Too Cute to Spook!

We have had an awesome month of October filled with friends, family and FUN! I just love this time of year. I feel like I am so behind on my blog and just do not know where to start, so I thought it may be easier to just post with pics.

So here we go!
Hope you enjoy all these beautiful smiles as much as we do :D

We couldnt go into the season without some fun fall crafts!

Jake getting to work hot glue gun for the first time.

He was pretty proud of himself and did such a wonderful job!

Caden working hard to get all those eye balls on.

With the End Result! Turned out super cute.
Thanks Michaels for your super clever ideals !

Check out that skull job jake did on his pumpkin!

Halloween Night!
The kids had such a blast! We had planned to have a get together at our house with some friends and family and unfortunatley Caden caught a virus and was feeling under the weather, so we had to cancel, but some of my family still showed up and brought food and we just hung out in the front yard/garage and passed out candy. It was still alot of fun with alot of good laughs!
Our neighboorhood is the perfect size for trick-or-treating. There are only 2 streets in our neighboorhood, so the kids got just the right amout of candy.
We really and truley do have the best little neighboorhood!
There was a little get together down the street, but I am starting to think our neighboors dont like us because we didnt find out about it until the night before :D
( I had to give you guys a hard time, hehe)
We had an awesome Halloween 2009!
Our Little Minnie Mouse
The Cutest GI Joes and Minnie that you have ever seen!

Snake and Duke

All the kiddies!

Unfortunately I wasnt very good with my camera this month, but these are some of the other things we did!
--Fall break playdates with friends, trip to the park, skate park, baseball games, family game night, movies, and crafts.

--Jake and I went on our mommy/son date night to dinner and ice skating.

--The pumpkin patch and fall festival.

--Worked on our garden out at the farm.

--Jake and Caden had their annual campout at
Grandpa and Grandmas with their cousin Bailer.

Happy Fall Y'all!!!

Fit for a Princess...

We finally got Adysens Room done!!!

I was so bummed that we never had the chance to make her room into a nursery before or shortly after she was born. I am so glad now that we waited until she was a little older to see what she was going to be like to fit her to her room just right.

Adysen loves princesses, playing dress up, dolls and is 100% girl! So we thought what would be more fitting than her very own Princess Castle!

BEFORE....

And...Happily Ever After

Adysen is in love with her room! She loves going in and out of her princess castle (and loves to slam the door shut too a million times, arrrggghhh). All we need is a tea table and some tea party friends and we will be set. hehehe.

Next mission... Operation Boys Room/Family Pictures!

It's a jungle in there....

So, we finally got one more room completely painted, accessorized and done!

(Sorry, these aren't the best pictures or angles, but the way the room is shaped I could not get a full picture D:)

The kids bathroom!
This has to be fixed..the words are not centered and driving me nuts!
Notice there are two boy monkey's and 1 girl monkey...hehe

Tucan...

The vines along the top

Giraffe and Towel hooks...

The only thing missing now is the tiger to be put on the other side of the towel hooks.

I wish we could say we did this all ourselves, but we did have some help! Thank you Michelle :D

I am so exited to be making some progress around here!

Adysens room we are still working on, so more pics of that to come soon, but we are getting to the final touches on things FINALLY! We have so much going on all the time that those little added touches that we have been wanting to do have just been last our list. Once we get Adysen and the boys room done, I can focus on the spare bedroom, masterroom, and then last the front living room.

Some more exiting news...I have been waiting for this for 19 months now! Adysen finally can wear piggy tails in her hair! My little ladybug was so bald for the longest time, so we are definatley exited to making progress on this too :D

Other than that, today was a great day! Adysen and I played in the water this morning, bird watched (this is a favorite of Adysens right now), and played on the swing set. Went and got a pedi and spent the afternoon with my mom and sisters! Still going strong at the gym and still taking forever to lose anything, but I am not giving up! I just wish it would come off as fast as it goes on.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Anyone got any big plans for Labor Day Weekend?

Little Slugger

In preparation of getting Jake ready for baseball we took him to the batting cages this weekend. I cannot believe how hard this child of mine can hit the ball! It was crazy. He has played baseball since he was 4, but nothing like what he is stepping into this year. No more t-ball stand or coach pitch...we are talking machine pitch,so we thought we better get him practicing. He was hitting 45mph balls last night and acting like it was no big deal, I kid you not. He was just awesome!

Even though Michael likes to think Jake got the natural batting skills from him I am pretty sure he got them from me. hehehe.

I had to throw these cute pictures in of Adysen having "study time" with the boys. She loves to do homework when the boys are.
Have I mentioned at all how much homework my kids have everyday! I have mixed emotions on that. I totally agree with the 25 minutes of reading everyday, but is 2 paqes of homework, plus spelling words and reading with a summary really all necessary? The spelling and reading I am totally good with, just not sure about the other two. Am I being totally whiney? I dont know...I just feel like they just spent all day in school and do they really need to come home and do more( I think you and I were just talking about this gma lois..hehe) Whats your opinions?

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Birthday Boy!

Our Cademan turned 6 on August 15! Such proud parents of this little guy we are :D

Michael had drill on Cadens birthday, so we took him out to dinner of his choice, burger king and then took him on his shopping spree that he had requested. He had such a blast walking around toys r us trying to find his present. After about two hours of "looking" we told him he had 10 minutes to find something (everyone was getting a little on edge). He kept going back to the remote control cars and ended up picking out a Ford Truck Remote Control. He also picked out a DS Game. It was a fun shopping spree.

This past Saturday we had his official birthday party! He had requested a waterslide and a snowcone machine. Just by chance the snowcone machine came free with the slide, so that worked out great :D The kids and adults had so much fun on the slide.

Michael also put together a treasure hunt for his "pirate party" and an obstacle course. Those two were a big hit and the obstacle course was HILARIOUS!

Some of the reasons that we love our Cademan so much:

-He is so loving and caring and has such a concern for others.

-Never runs out of hugs and kisses, always telling us how much he loves us.

-His BIG crystal Blue eyes .

-The way he tells us stories and the funny expressions he does when he tells us.

-Such a big helper.

-Such a good big brother.

We love you so much Caden! Happy 6th Birthday!!!

The super fun waterslide!

Caden and his BFF's

The boys showing their good sportsmenship and cheering on the teammates!

Michael couldnt resist running the obstacle course too..hehe

The boys with their obstacle course metals.

Everyone enjoying their snow cones

Even the little ones...

Cant forget the cake...

Thank you to our family and friends that were able to make Cadens Birthday and for helping make it super special!
