New postings from the last few weeks........

I just had to share this...

I put Adysen in the shopping cart for the first time a couple weeks ago and she was so exited!! People probably thought I was nuts for taking pictures of my baby in the middle of the grocery store, but it really was the cutest thing! She thought she was "Miss Thing" in the grocery cart for sure.

The Circus!!!

This was such an AWESOME show!! We had such a great time and really did enjoy it! I do have to say that my husband is such a trooper!! I bought these tickets like three months ago before we knew that he was going to have surgery. His surgery ended up being the day before the circus. I really thought that i would be taking all three kids to US Airways by myself that night for circus. To my surprise my husband insisted on going! He knew the boys had been looking forward to it for a very long time and did not want to miss out. So on crutches and 1 day post surgery my husband traveled with us to the circus, through the large crowds of people, on his crutches! The worst part is I parked on the complete opposite side of where are seats were, so we had to walk completely around to the other side. I kept saying, "I am so sorry honey, should I ask for a wheelchair". He never once complained though! I really did feel bad for him! All in all once got seated and the stress level was back down, we had a great time!!!! And then came the long walk back to parking lot.... just kidding. He did great. I just felt really bad!

My Pictures did not come out too good, so I only took a couple. I think it might have been because of all the other flashes in the stadium.

Playing Nurse........

This has been a fun and challenging week for me. Michael had sx on his hip this week. He has been in pain for about two years now. For those of you that don't know, Michael is a Military Policeman and served in Iraq for 14 months in 2006. He sustained some back and hip injuries while over there. After a long fight with the VA Hospital trying to get him better, we decided to seek outside help through a local orthopedic doctor through our own insurance. The outside orthopedic doctor found that michael had a tear in his hip and some bursitis and advised that he have surgery. He said that to have bursitis in his hip as young as he is was very rare. We went ahead and got a second opinion through another local doctor. He too said the same thing. We decided to go ahead and do the surgery, which was done this past week. Michael already feels ten times better and he is only 4 days post surgery! He is not able to walk on it for several days, which makes me now a mother of 4! lol. I get to mow the lawn today, which i am so exited about (not really) and have had to take on a really big load, but it is so worth it to see that my husband is already feeling so much better and not in the pain he was in!

This is what he has got to do for the last week! He is actually bored out of his mind! He has been playing alot of wii sitting down and watching alot of movies.

This should leave a nice scar!

Jake is moving on up from an otter to a turtle!

Jake just finished his first session of swim lessons and gets to advance to a turtle! He is very exited about his accomplishment! Good Job Jake!

The Strikers!

The boys have been having a blast bowling this summer!! I had to find some kind of indoor sport for them to do because it is just too dang hot to take Adysen outside for very long, so the boys chose bowling! They are on a 3 boy team with our little neighboor next door, Porter, and all three of them have just been having a blast! Once a week just does not come soon enough for them!

Hesston Ryan Foshee!!!!

My brother and his wife had their baby boy June 2, 2008!!! I am so exited to be an aunt again! Hesston and Adysen will be the closest cousins in age at 5 months apart!! Our family had its first scare when little hesston was born, as the hospital thought that he may have been born with some brain damage. He was refluxing nonstop and his breathing was very labored. They ran test after test after test. It seemed like it took them forever to figure out what was wrong with him. All the CT's of his brain came back normal for any type of brain damage, EEG came back normal (for seizure type activity). The doctors were finally like "we may never know what is wrong with him", which all of us were like, what do you mean? They decided to run a camera down his stomach to make sure everything was working right. The stomach was working fine, but they did find that Little Hesston had an extra amount of cartilidge on his trachea that was causing him to reflux and that was causing the labored breathing. The doctors said that this should correct itself by the time he is 2. He will although have to be on a feeding tube until it does correct itself as of right now. I feel so bad for the little guy. Things could have been alot worse though and we are just thankful that we have little hesston here with us.
