This is the kind of Farming we like.....

Grandma decided to do a gardening project with the kids and it has turned out to be such a neat thing for the kids to do. Even Mommy and Aunt Tara have really gotten into it! Since the economy has gone so crappy, what better way to be prepared then to have our own garden right on hand. We have planted everything...Squash, Zuccini, Watermelon, Canteloupe, Okra, Raddishes, green onions, red leaf lettace, corn, carrots, jalepeno peppers, serrano peppers, tomatoes, greenbeans. I am sure i am missing a few things in there. It has been so fun and such a great learning experience for the boys! We just went out this weekend and boys got to each pick there first raddish!

Adysen loves gardening too!

The Boys Working Hard on the mounds for the Squash and ZucciniStill working hard... The boys even went after school (got them out of chores..lol)

Looking good!!My Adorable Little Sister...My Beautiful mom..Hot and Grungy and still looks AMAZING!All the hard work paid off!! Doesn't it look great!!!

Mothers Day!

I definatley felt like a Queen on Mothers Day! The kids treated me so good. They were so cute all day with asking, "What would you like to do Mommy". We played some volleyball and they got me some icecream (i did not need, but didnt want to her their feelers), ate a ton of crab legs together (my kids love crab legs) and just enjoyed the day together. It was very nice and relaxing.

Caden had a fun "Muffins with Mom" at school and put on such a cute little program and then served the moms with muffins and juice. It was way cute. They went around to each child and asked them why they loved their mommy and Caden said, " I love my mom because she gives me sweet hugs and kisses and cares about me alot". I thought I was going to cry! I love that little guy!

(excuse the horrible picture of me, it was after a long day...lol)

The kids got me an apron and a griddle!! How perfect! I make pancakes every Saturday morning for the kids and all I have is a big pan that I can only make about 4 small pancakes at a time, so this was PERFECT! And the apron I LOVE! It has a picture of my three little cuties on the front of it.

I had to be over at my moms house early, so I wasn't pampered until later that evening, but boy was I pampered good! I even got a back and foot massage from my wonderful husband while we watched a movie..doesnt get any better than that!! I could go for one of those every night!!

Us girls cooked up about 15 pounds of crab legs for my mom (and to feed the whole herd) for Mothers Day. It is always so fun to get in the Kitchen and cook with a bunch of silly girls! Oh and the crab legs were OH SO YUMMY!!! It was totally worth all the hard work for my mom. She is the BEST MOM and I feel truley blessed to have her in my life! Everytime I feel overwhelmed with my three munchkins, I think of her and how she raised 5 munchkins and think to myself often, if she could do it with 5 I can handle 3. I asked her just not long ago, "Mom how did you do it with 5 kids? Her response was, " I never said I did it, I just got through each and everyday the best I could." It's so true!! She really is an AMAZING mom!

I love you so much Mom!

My Mom had mentioned a couple weeks prior to Mothers Day that she was craving chocolate covered strawberries...

So I made her a chocolate covered strawberry boquet...It turned out super cute!!

Caden my little heart breaker says, "Mommy oh it is perfect just like you". He just melts me!

Hope all you Mommy's out there had a wonderful Mothers Day!!!

"Caden Our Penny Pincher

The boys had stayed the night at my parents house a couple weeks ago when I get a phone call the next morning from my mom that Caden (my 5 year old remind you) came to her and told her he swallowed a PENNY...Yes a penny. Anyone who knows my little Cades knows he always has something in his mouth, whether it be his fingers, shirt, whatever! ARRGHHH...So my husband and I had had the wonderful joy of digging in his poop everyday for a week (actually my husband did most of the time, haha, sorry honey and I am so grateful for you doing that). After a week of no penny in site we took him to doctor to get an x-ray order to make sure that the penny was not somewhere blocking something. I guess we are not that great at digging in poop cause the penny was no where to be found! It probably came out the one time Caden flushed the toilet before coming to get us..figures! I am so glad that episode is over with and hoping my little guy learned his lesson about putting not only dirty gross pennies in his mouth, but any other Font sizeobjects in his mouth!!

Weight Loss Update...

I have lost 14 pounds to date! I am super exited about being that much closer to my weight loss goal! If anyone wants an awesome work out I took a cycling class at the gym and it ROCKS! Seriously, you feel like you are going to die while doing it, but when you are done you feel so good! My butt was sooo sooo sore the next day, but the girls in the class warned me and said that after a couple weeks its not so hard on the toosh! I was dripping sweat and just felt great when I was done though! You should try it sometime...

Wow! This is a long blog...got alot covered in one night.

Other than that just our usual crazy lives happening around here and loving every minute of it :D!

Boys are finishing up school and we are so exited for the summer to start!!!!

Anyone have any fun plans for the summer???

Soooo Big!

My little lady is getting so big! We just love and adore her so much. Adysen is going to be 16 months old here in just a couple days and is growing like a weed. She is truley a ham! She makes us laugh so often with the little faces she makes or silly things she does.

I had to share this picutre. It makes me laugh. She loves to wear her Daddy's old Army issued glasses from back in the day. Michael was issued these in basic training and the soldiers call these BCG's (birth control glasses). I dont think I need to explain why they call them that, pretty self explanatory..haha. Michael and I joke around and say that we are going to pull these back out for her to wear when she is 16 and dating...hahaha.

New Words that Adysen says

-Mommy ( I am not longer
Mama)
-Drink
-Eat
-Meek (milk)
-tanktu (she used to say tutu)
-Tanktu Mommy (she has started putting two words together)
-Stop (She learned that real fast with having two older brothers)

Some new things that Adysen is doing...

-Takes one 3 hour nap during the day (this is mommys favorite).
-Loves to swing on her swing on the playset out back.
-Climbs up on the bar stools in the house (mommy doesn't like this one at all)
-Loves to join in the wrestling match with daddy and brothers.
-Loves to play in the backyard with her boys.
-Loves to push her babies around in their stroller.
-Going through a hitting stage (yikes! not sure where she learned this one at)
-Loves when mommy reads to her.
-Totally a Grandmas girl (my poor mom doesnt get a break when we go to her house or she comes over here..adysen won't let her out of sight.
-Loves her playdates.

Having a little girl has been so much fun! The little dresses, hairbows, cute shoes, etc. Adysen has been so much fun to watch grow and learn new things. I do have to say that she is MUCH different than my boys were and it has been a whole new learing experience all over again. She is so much more sensative and needy than my boys were. We just love her though and could not imagine our lives without her!

Thank you for all that you have taught us about having a little girl. We love you Little Lady Bug!
